I am a writer and a Mommy. I am a devout Jew. These are the most important books I have read: The Tao te Ching by Lao Tzu, Stephen Mitchell translation. Spiritual Divorce by Debbie Ford. Living Inspired by Akiva Tatz. My kitchen would suggest I'm a closet carny, as would my love of Branson.

Crescent City Brewhouse, French Quarter New Orleans

I had a tuna salad and tried their roasted garlic appetizer.

Look at this beautiful salad!
It was an absolute work of art.

I know the picture below of the roasted garlic, the accompanying fruit, brie and fresh baked bread is dark, but let me tell you, it was amazing.
Everyone was really happy with their food and they even had an incredible chocolate dessert. You know me and chocolate, but this was so good I went around to the other tables and recommended people order it. I remember it had raspberry sauce or something like that.

I should have taken more pictures there, but this place is a testament to the fact that most anywhere in the Quarter is going to be a good dining experience. I would go back in a heartbeat.
